Quantity for 4 servings
|1 tbsp||Unsalted butter|
|450 g||Shrimp, shelled and deveined|
|2 clove||Garlic, chopped|
|0.25 cup||Chicken stock|
|1 cup||Whipping cream|
|1 cup||Parmesan cheese, grated|
|0.25 cup||Scallion, optional, sliced|
|1 tsp||Onion powder|
|1 tsp||Chili powder|
|1 tsp||Dried thyme|
|2 tsp||Paprika powder|
|2 tsp||Garlic powder|
1Firstly, prepare the cajun seasoning by mixing salt, black pepper, onion powder, cayenner pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika and garlic powder in a small bowl. You can store in airtight container.
2Bring to boil salted water in a pot.`2
3Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over medium-high heat, toss in the shrimp and sprinkle 1 tbsp the cajun seasoning. Cook about 2-3 minutes per side, and set aside.
4When the salted water boils, add in pasta and cook according to package directions.
5Meanwhile in the same pan, add the garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about a 30 seconds.
6Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, add the whip cream, parmesan and 0.5 tbsp cajun seasoning and cook until it thickens a bit, about 3-5 minutes.
7When the pasta is done, toss in to the alfredo sauce along with the shrimp, mix well.
8Garnish with scallion and serve immediately.
